Private Applicator Registry

Private Pesticide License Renewal Requirements for next licensing period: 4/1/2020 to 3/31/2023

Welcome to the Ohio Department of Agriculture Private Renewal site for private applicators.
Requirements for renewing a Private License:

• Your private pesticide applicator license will expire every three years on March 31st. Before the license expires, you will need to:
• Pay $30 to the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
• Obtain 3 hours of recertification training. Recertification training is available through OSU Extension county programs. For a listing of programs, visit https://pested.osu.edu/privaterecert or your county OSU Extension office. You will receive a renewal from ODA before your license expires reminding you to renew and attend recertification training.

1. Pay a renewal fee of $30 to the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
2. Take 3 hours of recertification credits every 3 years or retest.
